Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark (22) celebrates a made shot with guard Raven Johnson (3)

Raven Johnson provided quality minutes off the bench for the Indiana Fever on Monday against the Phoenix Mercury.

The rookie logged four points, five rebounds, three assists and a steal in 18 minutes of action. It wasn’t exactly a breakout performance from the 5-foot-8 guard, but Johnson did enough to help lead Indiana to an 86-77 win.

The Fever needed this one. It was their first victory in three games after suffering back-to-back losses to Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream.

Indiana improved to 10-7 as they continued their up-and-down campaign thus far. However, they remain third in the Eastern Conference, 2.5 games behind the top-seeded Dream.

Angel Reese, Indiana Fever players react to Raven Johnson’s post

Reese showed her support to the Fever rookie with a three-word reaction.

“my booskie boo,” the Dream All-Star wrote in the comments section.

This is far from the first time these two have interacted on social media. They often offer messages of support for each other despite being on rival teams.

Reese and Johnson faced off on the court multiple times during their college days, which eventually led to a close personal friendship. Their relationship continues to flourish now that Johnson has joined Reese in the WNBA.

Johnson’s Fever teammates also dropped their reactions.

“Love ur life babesss😍😍” said Aliyah Boston.

🤧😍” posted Kelsey Mitchell.

“Linda ❤🔥” reacted Damiris Dantas.

“Hi boo,” commented rookie Justine Pissott.

“It girl,” declared Tyasha Harris.

“uuuu sooo fly mamas 😍😍😍” Bree Hall said.

Johnson has played in all 17 of the Fever’s games so far this season. The Former South Carolina Gamecocks star is currently averaging 4.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 13.3 minutes per contest.
