Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchel did not really get the chance to go head-to-head on Saturday night as they faced off on opposing teams. However, both Indiana Fever stars played key roles for their respective sides in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.
Clark helped lead Team Spoon to a 129-122 win with 17 points, four rebounds, five assists and five triples. Despite the loss, Kelsey Mitchell turned in a strong performance for Team Coop, going off for a game-high 28 points, four rebounds, five steals and five threes.
These two have been the driving force for the Fever this season, but after getting drafted on opposing teams, they had to temporarily put their friendship aside as they battled on the court.

Clark and Mitchell joined the broadcast for an in-game interview as they both rested on the bench. They were asked about having to go one-on-one on the court, which they both welcomed with some friendly banter.
“Kelsey, you know better than that, sweetie,” Clark said on Mitchell potentially blowing by her defense. “She picked my pocket, so she better not do that to me.”
“That’s all love, though,” Mitchell responded.
Mitchell was then asked about possibly having to “embarrass” her Fever teammate on the court. The four-time All-Star was having none of it.
“We got a family vibe going, yeah,” Mitchell said. “We got a whole family thing going right now, we just try to stick together, y’all.”
That family will reunite in Indiana now that the All-Star festivities are over. They will need to refocus on the task at hand with another game coming up on Tuesday. The Fever will host the Seattle Storm at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as they look to improve their win streak to four games.
