Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland took the NFL by storm in his rookie season.

The No. 10 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft had a relatively slow start to his debut campaign. However, he did not take his foot off the gas as soon as he got going.

Loveland played 16 games in the regular season, finishing with 58 catches for 713 yards and six touchdowns.

He took it to another level in the playoffs. The former Michigan Wolverines star recorded eight receptions for 137 yards in Chicago’s thrilling 31-27 win over the Green Bay Packers in the Wild Card Round. Loveland logged the second-most receiving yards by any rookie tight end in an NFL playoff game.

Chicago Bears TE Colston Loveland values punctuality

Loveland’s elite talent did not come by accident. It is a product of years of hard work and dedication.

A testament to this fact is Loveland’s recent appearance on the highly popular “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast with former NFL players Will Compton and Taylor Lewan.

The show recently shared a clip of Loveland arriving for a 6:00 a.m. interview. What caught the hosts by surprise was that the Bears star arrived 15 minutes early, even before the sun rose.

“Didn’t see that coming,” Lewan said of Loveland’s punctuality. “My God. I’ll tell you what. Two tight ends in a row have been 15 minutes early.

“Something about the tight end group, man. They’re just different. Hybrid individuals. On time. Love the vlog. Love catching falls.”

Loveland also drew praise from the fans on social media.

“Colston always up holds the Michigan standard. 🦾” a comment on X read.

“Grind never stops!!!” said another.

“REPRESENTING THE GREAT STATE OF IDAHO,” declared a user.

“My GOAT always shows up prepared and on time,” an Instagram reaction read.

“GOAT. Future HOF TE right there,” another said.

“Loveland is so Legit,” a fan wrote.

As of this writing, “Bussin’ With The Boys” has yet to upload the Loveland episode. The fans, though, are already very much looking forward to what the Bears TE has to say on the show.

Loveland arriving 15 minutes early to an interview may not be a big deal for some. However, it speaks volumes about the mentality this young man has — one built for success at the highest level.
