Indiana Fever players react to historic Caitlin Clark news

Caitlin Clark will lead the Indiana Fever contingent for this year’s WNBA All-Star Game.
The WNBA announced the starters for the upcoming All-Star Game on July 25, and Clark was among three Fever players named. Joining her are Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, who were also among the top 10 vote-getters this year.
This is the third straight All-Star selection for Clark. Boston and Mitchell will join the festivities for the fourth time in their respective careers.
All three players have had a strong first half of the season for the Fever. Clark is averaging a career-high 21.2 points and 8.2 assists. Boston is putting up 17.0 points and 8.6 rebounds a night. Mitchell, on the other hand, is leading the Fever in scoring with 21.6 points per game.

Plenty of players have represented the Fever at the All-Star level through the years. However, this is the first time in franchise history that three players have been named as starters for the big game.
The Fever took to social media to share a video of the players congratulating Clark, Boston, and Mitchell on this historic feat.

Lexie Hull, Makayla Timpson, Raven Johnson, Tyasha Harris, Monique Billings, Justine Pissott, Bree Hall and Grace Vanslooten all sent their congratulatory message to their star teammates. They expressed how they feel Clark, Boston and Mitchell all deserve this honor. The squad also stated that they will support the trio during the All-Star Game at United Center in Chicago.
For now, however, the Fever are focused on the task at hand. Up next for them is a marquee matchup against the defending champions, the Las Vegas Aces. It will be a tough test on the road for the 11-8 Fever as they travel to T-Mobile Arena for Sunday’s clash.
