Sophie Cunningham joined the Indiana Fever for their trip to the West Coast on Friday.
The 29-year-old has been under the weather this week, missing multiple team practices. She returned to the practice court on Friday, though, and looked like she was feeling much better.
Cunningham took center stage as the Fever posted photos of the players on the tarmac boarding the team plane. The team is scheduled to face the Las Vegas Aces on Sunday at T-Mobile Arena in Nevada.
Cunningham and Co. are heading into a four-game road trip as they look to improve on their 11-8 record.

Cunningham’s tarmac snap was the cover photo of the Fever’s Instagram post. The eight-year veteran also shared a photo of herself via an Instagram story.
“and let the west coast games begin
” she wrote, posting a selfie showcasing her outfit.
Cunningham wore a white cropped tank top with red graphic text that read “Howdy Cowboy.” She paired her shirt with black athletic shorts, white Adidas sneakers and a dark green baseball cap.
The overall vibe was relaxed and sporty, which was ideal for travel on a casual summer day.
Despite her recent sickness, there are no indications that Cunningham will sit out their next game. This comes in the form of a marquee matchup against the 15-5 Aces on Sunday.
The Fever’s four-gam road trip includes a back-to-back set on Wednesday and Thursday against the Los Angeles Sparks and the Phoenix Mercury, respectively. They will conclude their West Coast trip with a rematch against the Aces on July 12.
